AMBIENT DISPLAY

This project is based on the research and how other smart tackles issues appeared due to the noise pollution delivering the minimized and concise information to the public with the help of ambient displays.

Which can impact psychological behavior of user to reduce to bring the liveliness to the city of Bamberg and provide plethora of opportunity for public to be more productive in a peaceful environment.

FREQUENCY BANDS, COLOR AND EMOTIONS

Day Light

  • Three level: Green, Orange and Red.
  • Facial Expression for each level.
  • Frequency thresholds divided into three levels.

Night Scene

  • Three level: Green, Orange and Red.
  • Facial Expression (Sleepy) for each level.
  • Thresholds levels decreased by 15 Db.

GREEN AND HAPPY

Green is often referred to as a color that offers a sense of stability and balance. It could therefore work well to use green in designs where you want to show how a product or service is reliable or safe to use.

RED AND EXHAUSTED

Red is violence, anger, and aggression, and it frequently indicates danger. Paradoxically–for a color associated with action and energy–red is universally used as the color that means “stop.”

Orange and Sad

Positive meanings of orange include warmth, energy, youthfulness, health and adventure. On the other side the most common negative associations of the color include crassness, rudeness and frivolity.

BLUE AND VERY HAPPY

Blue is the color of the mind, soothing and is essentially for acknowledgement, blue is often seen as a sign of stability and reliability.
